A cultural performance was held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts over the past weekend to celebrate International Children’s Day, bringing together more than 1,000 teenagers and children from across the country.

The event, organized by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, the China Welfare Institute, and the NCPA, was themed “Growing Up with the Motherland”. Through a variety of artistic forms, including choral recitations, traditional operas, instrumental performances, martial arts and acrobatics, as well as displays of intangible cultural heritage, it showcased the positive spirit and vitality of children in the new era.
